How to Delete Your Data

Selwyze respects your right to have your data deleted at any time. This page explains exactly what data we hold and how to request deletion — either automatically or manually.

What data Selwyze holds

When you use Selwyze, we store the following data on your behalf:

Your WhatsApp phone number and business name
Structured order records submitted through the bot
Customer names and order history extracted from your chat uploads
Weekly reports and insight history

Automatic deletion — chat files

When you upload a WhatsApp chat export for analysis, the raw file is automatically deleted within 48 hours. Only the structured data extracted from it is retained. You will receive a WhatsApp notification when this happens.

💬 You can reply KEEPDATA to the bot within 48 hours if you want your file kept for 30 days to re-analyse it. After 30 days it is deleted automatically.

Delete your account and all data

To delete your Selwyze account and all associated data, send either of these commands to the Selwyze bot on WhatsApp:

DELETE MY DATA
DELETE MY ACCOUNT

We will delete all your data within 30 days of receiving your request and send you a confirmation via WhatsApp.

Request deletion by email

If you are unable to access the bot, you can request deletion by emailing us at info@selwyze.ai with your WhatsApp number. We will process your request within 30 days.

What happens after deletion

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Your customer records, order history, and all analytics are permanently removed from our systems. You will receive a final WhatsApp confirmation when deletion is complete.
